Dr. Knecht specializes in all aspects of medical and surgical care of the foot and ankle. He is on staff at UTMB Galveston, Mainland Medical Center, and Memorial Southeast Hospital.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics, as well as being a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Knecht has been practicing in the Houston/Galveston area since 1974. He is active in the training of podiatric residents, lecturing, and writing numerous scientific articles on foot surgical techniques.

Our office is a participating provider in Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, Blue Cross, and most Medicare, HMO, and common insurance programs.
